Developing Our Talents & Connecting...
Aloha! Welcome to the Ohana. We are the Wasson Ohana. A multicultural local family raised near the North Shore of Oahu in a town called Kahuku. We are a family of seven and one dog, Snuggles. Our family loves to travel, entertain and provide the aloha spirit through healthy and positive interaction with everyone we meet.
We each have been given unique opportunities to learn about our culture & grow our talents.
THE WASSON
OHANA STORY
1987-1997
Performed and shared our culture.
2012
Decided to host BYUH Students. While they came to stay we found ways to involve them in cultural experiences and to hep them feel like they were a part of our Ohana.
1992-2018
Genevieve had opportunities to share her talents again in the community to create expereiences at her church, UH Manoa, Spa & Fitness, and in the homes of mothers in the military.
2013-2023
After learning from 101 Financial we purchased properties and rented it out with Airbnb. We would also host those that stayed in our place and shared our culture and unique opportunities. They became like family.
2021- 2023
Created a business where we could continue to share our culture and connect with people. We met Sokiyo who also helped make that happen!
OUR MISSION
We are committed to share the aloha spirit through our unique cultural experiences where ever we go. We would be happy to help you with suggestions for local attractions, restaurants, activities, and exciting destinations nearby. We love connecting with individuals worldwide by teaching and sharing the blended cultural experiences and values we’ve learned throughout our lives. And most of all, share our family’s meaning of the word “ALOHA” Authentic, Loving, Open, Happy, and Adventurous.
